We have created an interface between Academia with Industry for improving the threshold of quality education and technological solutions. We have partnership with apex institutions like C-DAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation), BSDM (Bihar Skill Development Mission) under various ministries of the central and state government. We have a broad spectrum of activities relating to training, providing online exam solutions, skill development and acting as an incubation center for business startups. We have a dedicated teams and support ecosystem for various ICT solutions, training, HR & examination services, software development, and campus interventions.

We are working in tandem with C-DAC ACTS, Pune for conducting various corporate and certificate courses in Network Security, Advanced Web Technologies, Online Examination Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computing. These courses are sponsored by Department of IT & Minority welfare, Government of Bihar and specially for the candidates belonging to minority, SC,ST and OBC aspirational sections of society. It is a sincere effort to lay the foundation and foster seamless flow of IT enabled services. Moreover, we also keep our social responsibility close in loop of our activities.

We have collaboration with various IT companies like HP India, TVSE Electronics, Epson, Microsoft, Intel, AMD, D-Link and NComputing to ensure the technology and solutions outreach. We work closely with Industry Associations to understand and help Academia develop the required work force in the emerging technological era. Department of IT and Industries, Govt. of Bihar has nominated us in the ICT Core Committee and Bihar Industrial Promotion Council for exploring Industrial opportunities and entrepreneurship in the State.

Past President CII – Bihar State Council, Chairman - IT & Services Sub Committee (Bihar Industries Association) and part of the ICT Core committee think tank set-up by Government of Bihar for development and promotion of IT sector in Bihar. Our objective is to create Enterprises across all Districts of Bihar, mentor them as incubation and make them sustainable to set a new trend in Capacity building, Skill Training and Entrepreneurship Development in eastern India.

Technology Demo Centre : The Company is also associated with various emerging companies to promote unique technological solutions in the field of education, technology domains and green energy innovations. Shared computing demo, Solar, Windmill and Hybrid Power generation system here and Interactive Learning demo centres has been set-up at our Centre of Excellence for hands on live and real-time experience of the technology and transformation. Internship Project and Training of Manpower on such technologies and innovations are part of our Academia – Industry interface.

Partnership with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC)

Under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship with an aim to promote skill development across the state. Astric is one of the non-funded NSDC partners from Bihar for vocational training initiatives. Its mandate is also to enable support systems such as quality assurance, information systems and train the trainer academies. We are implementing projects under PMKVY – CSSM components in various vocational domains in 10 districts of Bihar.

Agreement with Bihar Skill Development Mission (BSDM)

under Department of Labour Resources, Government of Bihar to assist in skilling the youth under the aegis of Chief Ministers 7 Resolves “आर्थिक हल युवाओं को बल” for youth aged between 15 to 28 years. Set up Block Skill Development Centres & PMKVY CSSM across Bihar – Patna, Aurangabad, Bhojpur, Katihar, Munger, Nalanda, Samastipur, Saran and, Sasaram. Also has been an incubation for Government of Bihar approved GST Suvidha Kendra & Training Facility at Patna.

MOU with SA - Army Bihar & Jharkhand HQ – Danapur (CSDC)

We have an agreement with Army HQ Jharkhand and Bihar, SA Danapur Cantt for skill development and resettlement of their Ex-Servicemen and their dependants. A special course aimed at breaking the barriers of age, gender & education for imparting digital literacy among armed forces employees, family and dependents is in action here. Kushal Yuva Programme under Bihar Skill Development Mission, Government of Bihar and ICT based trainings is also imparted with a special focus on women empowerment and imparting skills for better employability using modern learning tools, which are powered by environment-friendly technologies.

We began “Centre of Excellence” a Public Private Partnership venture with a MoU with state IT Nodal Agency BELTRON, under Department of Information Technology, Government of Bihar for training and capacity building for the different departmental employees of the state as our solution towards good governance enabling. We have trained government officials on Communicative English (State Level Bihar Education Project Council officials, Industrial Training Institute’s English Instructors and newly Bihar Administrative Services & Bihar Financial Service officers through BELTRON, and staff for Department of Post-Govt. of India.

Women’s ITI, Digha Transformation into Centre of Excellence

We are the Industry Partner under Government of India Scheme of “Upgradation of 1396 Government Industrial Training Institute’s under Public Private Partnership” for Women’s Industrial Training Institute, Digha, Patna. Our efforts is to improve the quality of education, availability of latest lab equipment’s and link it with Industry for employment and Entrepreneurship. We have introduced market driven training for the last semester students with all possible aids to assist them to move ahead in their respective careers. The mission is to optimize the trainings and perform a 360-Degree development of the Institution.

Darbhanga College of Engineering, Bihar @TEQIP World Bank Project

Department of Science and Technology, Government of Bihar has nominated the co-founder of Astric Computers (I) Pvt. Ltd., as Member in the board of Governor for implementation and guidance in upgradation of Darbhanga College of Engineering under TEQIP3 Project. AICTE (All Indian Council of Technical Education) under Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India has also nominated us as the Industry Member for assistance and upgradation, which comes under technical education. We are putting sincere efforts to optimize the trainings and development of the Institution in tandem with the industry requirements. Objective is to build upon the core strength of Bihar, which always was in its Human Resource.

Empowering e-governance & Industrial Development Initiatives

The e-governance initiatives taken in recent years have posed a tremendous challenge to create the pool of skilled manpower resources and Industrial developments at various levels. Department of IT, Industries, Science and Technology has nominated us at various apex forum for advisory and help in optimisation of technology intervention and industrial development.
